Two Sports ‘N Spokes (S’NS) Junior Athletes of the Year recipients have received major honors.
The 2025 S’NS Junior Athlete of the Year Madelyn Wilson, along with 2022 S’NS Junior Athlete of the Year Delmace Mayo are two of 44 high school para athletes who have been named to the 2025 USA Track and Field (USATF) Para High School All-American track and field team.
Athletes with Paralympic-eligible impairments qualify for the USATF Para High School All-American team and were selected based on results from the 2025 season, according to a press release. The selection criteria looked at top athlete performances in each event in 2025 as compared against the “A” standard for the USATF Para Tier & Talent Protection Program, according to the release.

Wilson, a Spencer, Mass., resident, who received the Sports ‘N Spokes honor this past June, races in the 100 meters in the women’s T54 wheelchair division.
A Boston resident, Mayo competes in the men’s T54 wheelchair division and in the men’s 100, 400, 800, 1,500 and 5,000 racing events.
A 2024 Paralympic silver medalist and world champion field event thrower, Arelle Middleton, was named the team’s Female Field Athlete of the Year for the third consecutive year. A Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., resident, she just earned her first world championship title of her career – the F44 shot put – at the Para Athletics World Championships in New Delhi, India, in her senior year of high school. She committed to play wheelchair basketball at the University of Alabama next school year.

Ryan Davis (Waskom, Texas), a wheelchair racer, was named the Male Track Athlete of the Year. He finished in a season-best time of 11 minutes, 47.42 seconds in the men’s T54 5000-meter event at May’s Desert Challenge Games in Tempe, Ariz., and also hit high school All-American marks with his 100, 400, 800 and 1,500 times.
Additionally, Violet Hall (Bloomington, Ind.) won Female Track Athlete of the Year honors and Max Allabaugh (Geneva, Ill.) earned Male Field Athlete of the Year honors. Also, wheelchair racer Gianni Quintero (Milwaukee) races in the men’s T4 100, 400, 800 and 1,500 events.
