All In Sport Consulting

DENVER — April 22, 2019 — All In Sport Consulting, a Denver-based consulting firm that works with organizations to create life-changing opportunities for people with physical disabilities through adaptive sport, has announced new partnerships with the American Legion Auxiliary, Far West Wheelchair Athletic Association, and USA Badminton. The firm will work with the organizations to advance their individual missions and expand the reach and benefits of adaptive sport to their respective audiences across the country.

“I am thrilled to work with these new clients to expand their efforts within the adaptive sport movement – bringing sport opportunities to more individuals with physical disabilities,” said Dawna Callahan, founder and chief executive officer of All In Sport Consulting. “We appreciate that our clients value our deep understanding and specialized experience in adaptive sport.”

American Legion Auxiliary

Founded in 1919, the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) is the world’s largest women’s patriotic service organization with more than three quarters of a million members, and one of the nation’s most prominent supporters of veterans, military, and their families. This year, ALA is focused on helping its members live an active lifestyle through sports and recreation, which can positively impact those living with a disability. There are numerous adaptive sport programs across the country that provide recreational opportunities for injured veterans, military, and their families. All In Sport Consulting will work with ALA to develop a national engagement plan to help members connect with these programs, and get back on track to living a healthy and active life post-injury.

“The century-old mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to enhance the lives of our veterans, military, and their families,” said Nicole Clapp, ALA national president. “The opportunity to work with All In Sport Consulting will help open our organization to the world of adaptive sports. Many of our war heroes embrace these activities as conduit to bring fulfillment to their lives. All In Sport Consulting will provide our members with education and training, and foster relationships, giving our membership an active role in enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families.”

All In Sport Consulting has also partnered with Far West Wheelchair Athletic Association (FWWAA) to develop operational strategies related to fundraising, strategic partnerships, and program recruitment. Serving people in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area, FWWAA is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which develops, promotes, and organizes community-based sport and recreation programs for individuals of all ages with various physical disabilities.

USA Badminton (USAB)

USBA is the national governing body for the sport in the United States as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee and the Badminton World Federation. In 2017, the International Paralympic Committee announced that Para Badminton would be a medal sport at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. All In Sport Consulting will assist USA Para Badminton with sport development and outreach with the goal of introducing and growing the sport across the U.S.
