Angel City Games go Virtual for 2020

Angel City Games Going Online

With California still in lockdown mode because of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 Angel City Virtual Games presented by The Hartford are going online.

They’ll mirror what the physical Games would have showcased and offer adaptive athletes competitive opportunities, sports clinics, events and community building.

And they’ll last way longer – four weeks instead of four days, running from June 22-Aug. 30.

Sports include track and field, swimming, wheelchair tennis, archery, wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, table tennis, powerlifting, goalball and cheerleading, and athletes can also participate in Workout Wednesdays.

Wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis virtual clinics will be offered, and there will be events like scavenger hunts and fun runs, rolls and rides.

The Angel City Games is the premier adaptive sports festival in the western United States, offering clinics, competitions and special events for people of all ages and skill levels who have a physical disability or mobility impairment.
