Multiple wheelchair and adaptive sports events, including those with Paralyzed Veterans of America and ones around the U.S. and world, have been canceled or postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Just as the coronavirus has had a major affect on the NBA, NHL, MLB and other major sports, wheelchair and adaptive sports are no different. Multiple wheelchair and adaptive sports events, including those with Paralyzed Veterans of America and ones around the U.S. and world, have been canceled or postponed. Here’s a look below at some of the events it’s affected so far:

CANCELED

March 12 – 2020 Para Biathlon World Championships (Ostersund, Sweden)

March 13-15 – PVA Mid-Atlantic Billiards Tournament (Midlothian, Va., Diamond Billiards)

March 14-17 – Dubai 2020 World Para Athletics Grand Prix (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)

March 16-22 – World Para Alpine Skiing Hafjell 2020 World Cup (Hafjell, Norway)

March 17-22 – 31st annual United States Tennis Association Wheelchair Tennis ITF Super Series Cajun Classic (Baton Rouge, La.)

March 19-21 – 2020 National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) Toyota Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball National Championships (Wichita and Bel Aire, Kansas, Wichita Hoops)

March 21-22 – PVA Wisconsin Chapter Air Rifle and Pistol Tournament (Milwaukee)

March 24-28 – Are World Para Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals (Are, Sweden)

March 25-28 – Sao Paulo 2020 World Para Swimming World Series (Sao Paulo, Brazil)

March 26-20 and April 2-5 – USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Festival 2020 (Pittsburgh)

March 26-28 – Sao Paulo 2020 World Para Athletics Grand Prix (Sao Paulo, Brazil)

March 27-29 – 2020 United States Quad Rugby Association National Championships (Rockford, Ill.)

March 27-29 – 2020 Toyota National Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Tournament (Phoenix)

March 27-29 – PVA Handcycling Off-Road Expo (Chesterfield, Va.)

April 3-5 – PVA Bass Tour Florida Gulf Coast Bass Tournament (Tavares, Fla.)

April 9-12 – PVA Mid-America Bowling Tournament (Shawnee, Okla.)
