Britain’s Tomas Woods and Bee Warman Dominate 2025 WCMX World Championships
The adaptive action sports world converged on Bulle, Switzerland on September 13 for the 2025 World WCMX Championships, where British riders delivered standout performances at the High in the Park Festival.

In a field of international talent spanning nine countries, Tomas Woods secured the men’s world title with an impressive score of 88 points. The British athlete topped a competitive podium that featured Brazil’s Felipe Souza in second place (84.5) and Germany’s David Lebuser in third (81). The depth of talent was evident throughout qualifying rounds, with emerging riders like Germany’s Max Dorka and France’s Alex Verdoux pushing established competitors to elevate their performances.
The women’s competition saw another British triumph as Bee Warman claimed the championship title. Germany’s Cécile Lecomte earned second place, while Italy’s Ilaria Naef rounded out the podium in third. The division showcased the technical precision and power that continues to drive the sport’s evolution.
This year’s championships underscored the remarkable growth within adaptive action sports, highlighting the progression, tight-knit community, and unwavering resilience that defines WCMX culture.
